The 1 cc Oasis WAX cartridges contain the Oasis WAX sorbent, which is a polymeric reversed-phase, weak anion exchange mixed-mode sorbent that has been optimized for fast, simple, and highly selective sample preparation of strong acidic compounds. Since the Oasis WAX sorbent is water wettable, it maintains its capability for higher retention and excellent recoveries even if the sorbent runs dry, which means there is no need to take extraordinary steps to keep the sorbent beds from drying out during the critical steps prior to sample loading. The 60 µm particle size is recommended when working with viscous samples. These syringe-barrel-type cartridges are designed for use with vacuum manifolds and automated SPE instruments.

Specially cleaned polymeric poly(divinylbenzene-vinylpyrrolidone) resin with hydrophobic character. Can be used as an alternative to octadecyl-bonded silica for preparation of analytes that weakly adsorb to silica-based reversed-phase sorbents. Compatible with sample or eluents at high and low pH. Specifically designed for the concentration of high explosives in aqueous samples.

These Vac RC cartridge contains the Oasis MCX sorbent, which is a novel, mixed-mode polymeric sorbent that has been optimized to achieve higher selectivity and sensitivity for extracting basic compounds with cation-exchange groups. Since the Oasis MCX sorbent is water wettable, it maintains its capability for higher retention and excellent recoveries even if the sorbent runs dry, which means there is no need to take extraordinary steps to keep the sorbent beds from drying out during the critical steps prior to sample loading. These cartridges feature an integral 20 cc funnel-shaped reservoir for convenient processing of greater volumes or samples or solvents. They can be used with robotic sample preparation equipment or with vacuum manifolds.
